PE Food-Grade Gloves - Clear
Lightweight polyethylene gloves engineered for food handling, preparation, and packaging environments where frequent glove changes and cross-contamination prevention are the priority. At 1.2 mil thickness, these gloves are designed for short-duration tasks - the trade-off being minimal cost per unit and high throughput. Ambidextrous fit eliminates the need to sort left from right, speeding up donning in high-volume food service lines. The embossed surface pattern improves grip on wet and oily food items without the cost premium of textured nitrile.
Why Procurement Teams Choose These Gloves
Polyethylene is the lowest-cost glove material available - roughly 60-70% cheaper per unit than nitrile. For operations requiring 500+ glove changes per shift, the savings compound rapidly.
Manufactured from FDA-compliant raw polyethylene resin for direct food contact. Meets 21 CFR 177.1520 requirements for olefin polymers in food-contact applications.
100% latex-free - no natural rubber proteins that trigger Type I allergic reactions. Critical for food service environments where glove contact transfers to food consumed by latex-sensitive individuals.
Dotted embossing pattern on fingers and palm improves grip on wet, oily, and frozen food surfaces - reducing dropped product and slip hazards in commercial kitchens.
Ambidextrous design means any glove fits either hand - no time wasted sorting or matching pairs. Loose fit allows easy on/off with a quick snap, ideal for tasks requiring frequent changes.
Available in 100-count and 500-count dispenser boxes, and 5000-count bulk cartons - designed for food processing facilities and commissary kitchens that go through gloves fast.

FAQ
Are these gloves suitable for handling hot food?
No. PE gloves have low heat resistance (up to approximately 80°C briefly). For hot food handling, use heat-resistant gloves designed for that purpose. PE gloves are intended for cold, ambient, or room-temperature food contact.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is 20 cartons (20,000 pcs). Mixed-size cartons are available for trial orders. Bulk packaging (5,000 pcs/carton) is available for high-volume buyers.
Can I get OEM branded packaging?
Yes. Custom dispenser box printing, private-label cartons, and custom size assortments are available for orders meeting the MOQ. Lead time for OEM orders is typically 20–30 days.
How do these compare to vinyl or nitrile gloves?
PE gloves are the thinnest and least expensive option - designed for frequent changes and short-duration food contact. Vinyl offers better durability and fit for longer tasks. Nitrile provides chemical resistance and puncture resistance for heavier-duty use. We supply all three types.
