Before shipment, inspect the product against the specification sheet — material, dimensions, colour, packaging and any stated performance values. Check the physical quality of the product

For masks, check the layers, the melt-blown core, the ear loops and the nose clip. For gowns, check the material, the seams, the cuffs and the critical zones. For gloves, check the thickness, the powder-free finish and the AQL. A visual and tactile inspection of samples from the batch catches most quality issues before they reach your customer.

Request the quality documents with the shipment

Ask for the quality documents that accompany the shipment: the certificate of analysis, the inspection report, the packing list and the certification file for each product. Confirm the documents match the shipment — the model, quantity and batch on the documents should match what is in the cartons. Keep copies for your own customs and market-entry process.
