Clinical Evidence: Why Gown Compliance Matters
A peer-reviewed study published in PubMed found that when compliance with gown and glove isolation precautions more than doubled, the rate of nosocomial (hospital-acquired) infections decreased by a factor of 2.9 (95% CI: 1.5 to 5.7).-2
Implication for your facility: Higher-quality gowns β better staff compliance β lower infection rates β reduced liability and treatment costs.
